Certaines autres provinces avaient pr\u00e9vu de proposer au gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral la candidature des camionneurs \u00e0 la r\u00e9sidence permanente au Canada. Ainsi, les entreprises de transport routier de l'Ontario pourront d\u00e9sormais embaucher des camionneurs \u00e9trangers. Les chauffeurs routiers potentiels devront suivre le programme obligatoire de formation au niveau d'entr\u00e9e de l'Ontario et devront recevoir une formation compl\u00e9mentaire en interne de la part de leur employeur. Ce changement donne aux entreprises de camionnage de l'Ontario le m\u00eame acc\u00e8s aux sources de main-d'\u0153uvre \u00e9trang\u00e8re que celui dont b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient actuellement les secteurs de l'agriculture et de la construction.
