Agri-Food Immigration Pilot is a 3-year economic immigration pilot that will fill labour shortages, particularly in meat processing and mushroom production, within the agri-food sector and help meet Canada\u2019s ambitious export targets. This new pilot will allow agri-food sector workers to apply for a permanent residency in Canada. Employers in the agri-food sector will be eligible for a 2-year Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). The application for the pilot will open in early 2020.
