Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have announced details for the upcoming Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots, which will launch on March 31, 2025. The program features two streams with reduced eligibility requirements, including only six months of work experience or related training, CLB 4 language proficiency, and a secondary school diploma. Initially, only workers currently in Canada can apply, with the international applicant stream opening later this year. Notably, the pathways are LMIA-exempt and even accommodate out-of-status workers through a special public policy.
