New TFWP Changes: Employers Must Prioritize Youth and Extend Job Advertising

Although rural employers now benefit from a 15% cap-instead of the usual 10% cap, all employers must now advertise for longer and must try to recruit youth before they can hire a foreign worker through the low-wage stream of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). The advertising period is now eight weeks, and an additional target group has been added: youth.
